New doors.

Lucas came to us through a builder,we were using. Originally just to refit a set of double doors& finish off the last little bits of skirting etc. Was really impressed with the work that he done for us,so asked him if he would be interested, in changing some doors for us. Yet again he did a first class job. If he had any problems he would call &discuss. We will be using him again, when we deed some other works done .Can highly recommend.

Kitchen works

Promptly available and a great service. Had a kitchen worktop alignment work to be done as well as fitting the floor and the work was brilliantly done. Really recomend their services.

Wardrobe installation

Lucas and his apprentice was absolutely fantastic. Very professional polite and knowledgeable and build the new wardrobe in a record time. Lucas was more than willing to help with any other work. And he is very affordable and reasonable

Repointing large and small areas of property.

From the first visit for a quote they were polite and very pleasant. They did not push for an immediate decision. They answered all my queries and regarding an issue with brickwork at the top of a window went out of their way to check thoroughly and gave a simple solution. They turned up within suggested time. They tidied up the best they could ( cutting out cement causes a lot of cement dust). A friend saw the work done and will be using this company to do some work for him.

Adding two courses to garden retaining wall using reclaimed bricks

We are most impressed with LJ Builds Ltd. We needed a relatively modest bricklaying job completed and James could not have been more helpful. His customer-focussed response, attitude, co-operation and communication are first class as are his bricklaying skills. The job was done very well and the site was left clean and tidy. A really fantastic service from James and colleagues at L J Builds. The Brickwork repairs, repointing and weatherproofing were undertaken to the highest of standards with excellent communication and professional knowledge shared from the team throughout. James and colleagues arrived exactly when they said and completed the work in a timely manner and left the area clean and safe. The price quoted was excellent for the high standard of work and we will definitely be asking LJ Builds to undertake work for us again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for work to be do

Repointed brick wall

James re pointed an old brick wall at the front of our house. He arrived promptly did the job in good time, was polite and extremely tidy. Really happy with the job done and would definitely recommend.

Replacement ceiling in kitchen

Lucas and his apprentice Ben worked tirelessly to replace my ceiling within one day, to avoid prolonged disruption to my household. The work was completed on time and within the agreed price. They tidied everything after completing the job.

Highly Recommend for Carpentry work

Would definitely recommend for any carpentry work. The L.J Builds team are brilliant – we’ve now used several times for various jobs, and the service/ quality of work each time has been extremely good! The team are polite, punctual and fairly priced- and nothing is too much bother. We wouldn’t use anyone else now.

Stud Work and Brickwork

L.J Builds completed work for me in June, they were very professional while carrying out the work, the men always cleaned up after a days work and left every room nice and tidy! They will definitely be doing more jobs for me in the future.
